1.  John4 HELTZEL  (Henry3, Johann Tobias2, Philip Wendell1) was born 5 Mar 1791 in Arendt's Church: Arendtsville, Adams Co. PA1, and died Bef. 1840 in Bedford Co. PA2.  He married Jane TIPTON ca 1816, daughter of Jesse TIPTON.  She was born Mar 1792 in PA3, and died 30 Sep 1881 in Taylor Twp. Blair Co. PA4.

        3                ii.    Elizabeth HELSEL, born 24 Sep 1818 in Bedford Co. PA; died 18 Sep 1876 in Blair Co. PA9.  She married (1) James McCONNELL; died Bet. 1842 - 1850.  She married (2) George YINGLING 12 Jun 1855 in St. Patrick's Church, Newry, Blair Co. PA10; born 20 May 180711; died 6 Jan 188511.

 

        4               iii.    Henry HELSEL, born 25 May 1820 in Bedford Co. PA12; died 13 Mar 1899 in Taylor Twp. Blair Co. PA13.  He married Catharine ALBRIGHT ca 1844; born 23 Apr 1825 in Bedford Co. PA; died 16 Mar 1900 in Taylor Twp. Blair Co. PA14.

 

        5               iv.    George L. HELSEL, born 26 Jul 1822 in Bedford Co. PA15; died 10 Jul 1894 in Gaysport, Blair Co. PA16,17.  He married (1) Sarah SINGER; born 19 Dec 181318; died 21 Oct 185919.  He married (2) Elizabeth LIGHTNER 3 Aug 186520; born 20 Nov 183520; died 22 Aug 190320.

 

        6                v.    Edward HELSEL, born 1 Jan 1826 in Bedford Co. PA21; died 14 Aug 1889 in Hopewell, Blair Co. PA22.  He married (1) Maria MOCK ca 1849; born ca 183023; died 18 Nov 188224.  He married (2) Ann E. MILLER 5 Oct 1887 in Bedford Co. PA25; born 182825; died May 190226.

 

        7               vi.    David HELSEL, born 18 Aug 1828 in Bedford Co. PA27; died 8 Aug 1898 in Taylor Twp. Blair Co. PA28.  He married Lavina FICKES; born ca 183529; died Bef. 188030.
