I beg to send you enclosed Five pounds and ten pence (£5.0.10) being the first instalment on the South half of Lot No. 7 in the 8th Con. of Camden East, as purchased by me at the last dat of Clergy R**** held here on 16th ***, say 100 acres [@ 10/1] [?]

You will please transmit your acknowledgement to the Napanee Post Office.

Know all men by these presents that I Joseph Morgan of the Township of Camden **** District and province of Upper Canada yeoman for the sum of Eighty pounds currency and I do hereby sign over a ll my right title and interest claim Demand and possession of lot No. 7 in the Eighth Consession of Camden being the lot I now reside on to John Brown of the township of Tyantinague District of Victor and province of Upper Canada yeoman and I the said Joseph Morgan for myself my heirs executors Administrators assignees, do warrant and defend the said John Brown in the quiet and peacible possession of the said lot for ever.

And *** this is to certify that John Brown has Bought the Wheat and Rye Sowed on the lot and I Joseph Morgan has given under my hand no claim on the grain sowed on the said lot.

In witness where of I do hereby sign my hand and seal this 5th day of March in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and forty two.
