CHARLES YECKLEY
A native of Blair county,
died at 4.55 o'clock Monday morning at his home at 1115 Vessica
street, Wilkinsburg, of Bright's disease. The
deceased was in his 72nd year and was born at Dry Run, a son of Christian and
Catherine Yeckley. He was married to Mary Shaw of
Poplar Run forty-nine years ago last Christmas day. She survives with three
sons, Harry, Howard and Paul, all of Wilkinsburg. One brother, William Yeckley of Duncansville, and three sisters, Mrs. William Gleichert and Mrs. John Gearhart of Altoona and Mrs.
Charles Smith of Duncansville, also survive. The funeral will be held Wednesday
afternoon at his late residence, with interment in the Unity cemetery at
Latrobe.
